The Tai-Huei Pilot-Operated Solenoid Directional Valve Series serves as the high-performance cornerstone of fluid direction control in medium-to-large-scale hydraulic systems. This series is engineered specifically to eliminate a critical pain point in heavy-duty machinery: the insufficient shifting force and high susceptibility to spool sticking faced by conventional direct-acting solenoid valves under high-pressure, ultra-high-flow conditions.

Characterized by its core advantages of powerful pilot shifting forceexceptional structural rigidity, and long-term stability under heavy loads, this series eliminates redundant complexities. Its architecture is completely optimized for rigorous heavy-industrial applications, guaranteeing that high-volume fluid manipulation remains precise, instantaneous, and dependable at the exact moment of switching. It is the definitive performance choice for high-load automated production lines and heavy machinery that require a flawless balance of brute force and premium, uncompromising quality.

Key Applications

  • Medium-to-Large Heavy-Duty Machine Tools & Metalwork Machining Centers
  • Large-Scale Hydraulic Presses & High-Tonnage Forging Equipment
  • Heavy-Duty Plastic Injection Molding Machines & Die-Casting Equipment
  • Steel Smelting, Rolling, & Metallurgical Automation Systems
  • High-Capacity Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs) & Heavy Industrial Control Circuits

Operational Guidelines

  • Solenoid Valve Co-use Requirement: This series of solenoid-controlled, pilot-operated directional control valves must be paired with a pilot solenoid valve. Use model 2B2 for G04 single-solenoid configurations, 2A2 for G06 single-solenoid configurations, and 3C4 for all double-solenoid configurations.
  • Internal Drain & Pilot Pressure: The internal drain pressure must be maintained at least 5 kgf/cm2 higher than the return line (tank) pressure. To prevent excessive backpressure in the oil line, it is highly recommended to select the *External Pilot Type (D) to ensure accurate and reliable valve actuation.
  • Maximum Flow Rate Variations: The maximum allowable flow rate varies depending on the spool type. Spool configurations 3C6, 3C60, and 3C5 (where ports P and T are connected in the neutral position) yield the lowest flow rates.
  • External Pilot Pressure Requirements: For the External Pilot Type, the external pilot pressure supplied to the valve must exceed 5 kgf/cm2.
  • Check Valve Integration: G04 and G06 valve bodies DO NOT include an integrated check valve function. Please install an external check valve separately in your system if required.
